The papers of Robert B. Tabor document his life and career as an artist. Biographical material, his diaries from the 1940s until his death in 1972, as well as correspondence with writers, artists, and politicians provide insight into Tabor as artist and man. Some of the correspondents include: Marcus Bach, John C. Culver, Harold E. Hughes, and Edward B. Rowan. The disappearance of his painting "Vendue" is the subject of several folders. Finally, there are more than twenty sketchbooks containing samples of his art.
